Paulie and David Pocock star as bad lip-reading hits the Rugby World Cup

And it’s all for a very good cause.

IT’S ONE OF the best things about the NFL and now the bad lip-reading videos have reached the Rugby World Cup. Though this time there’s a more serious message at play.

Starring the likes of Paul O’Connell, Chris Henry, David Pocock and Steve Hansen, by far the stand out moment is when two Uruguayan players do the hokey pokey.

The video is produced a New Zealand based captioning working group who are looking to push through legislation that will improve the quality of subtitles on sporting events for the deaf and hard of hearing.
